THE MARINE CORPS LEAGUE

The Marine Corps League is the only congressionally chartered United States Marine Corps-related veterans organization in the United States.  Its congressional charter was approved by the 75th U.S. Congress and signed by President Franklin D. Roosevelt on August 4, 1937.  Unicoi Detachment 783 received its charter on September 19, 1991 and proudly serves both Towns and Union counties.  

Detachment 783 supports veterans from ALL branches of military service, and their families, through its Larry Ashley Veterans Relief Program, the Marine Corps League's Roses Program and the its Fallen Marine Program.  To learn more about these programs click on the link BELOW.
